Admittedly, I understand why people dislike Sonic the Hedgehog 1, because they were exposed to Sonic the Hedgehog 2, and they are used to the spindash; but I enjoy going back to the first game from time to time just because I like the physics based gameplay. It works well for all three games. I honestly wish the NEW Sonic Team would study these games more thoroughly and give us back the physics based gameplay we know and love (That doesn't mean that i'm not interested in Sonic Boom).
