Funny thing, you'll never see most of these cars in game, especially if you have a version other than PC. Tier 0 is just not there, there's a shitton of DLC cars, and let's not forget the ridiculous amount of reward cards, especially the online ones, which of course didn't exist in the PS2 and XBOX releases due to lack of online play. The Collectors' Edition cars are just the cherry on top of the unattainanble car cake of NFS Carbon. People say this game has the best car list, when only half of it is available in the actual campaign, which in itself is so short that even if it wasn't so easy, you physically could not use that many card. I used to defend this game too, but i've replayed it recently, and i can confidently say I overrated it when I was a kid.

The BMW M3 GTR is my favorite cars of all in the PC/PS3/360 versions of the game IF you pre-order the "Collector's Edition" of Carbon.

The gtr is also in the ps2 edition all you have to do is the turner career mode and beat a certain person in an area on the map and you unlock it...

Because a lot of them can only be obtained through special editions, online progression, DLC etc etc and sadly the online is inaccessible and I'm pretty sure the DLC isn't being sold so to get all cars you'd have to mod them in on PC

im sure they had greater ideas for this game but they scrapped many, look up mystery city for example or the original map and the 911 turbo S. Sadly, the game was rushed within a very 1 year time frame and they had to make it simpler. Still my favourite nfs game of all time though.

On PC, there are mods/trainers that can give you access to all the cars in the game. Now on consoles, some of them can be obtained legitimately through Reward Cards and cheat codes. But the rest of them were locked away through online features.
