@IHS7 Funny story, GI Joe itself was originally a premise called "Fury Force" about Nick Fury's son leading a special ops group against HYDRA. So the inspiration has come full circle.

Omg! I had this!, i always wanted to get that dam toy plane. *Early 90s*, Friend- "Wanna play army?". Me- "Yea! I wanna be Sgt savage!". Friend- "Who?...ok...ill be the guy from predator!".
@Jsun2314 жыл бұрын
@alexcowart Sgt. Savage was bigger than the 3.75 inch Joes. he was between 5 to 6 inches tall. They made a point of showing this in the old commercials for the toys. That's one of the reasons why I never got into the line; I thought they looked like big, cheap versions of the smaller Joes. I liked his plane though...

@Dragonrider1227 What exactly do you mean by this, I never measured my old figures but im guessing they were about 3.75 inch I have multiples savage and kreiger figures they weren't all 12 inchers if that is what you are saying.

@RedzPenguin1 Theyre not too hard to find on Ebay, and for fairly cheap too.

Sgt. Savage and His Screaming Eagles is not the first G.I. Joe which has a WWII setting. The America's Moveable Fighting Man (1964) was the first G.I. Joe to set in WWII.

my reactions, 1:27 SAMURI JACK!!! 4:00 I'm sorry but, um, WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE!!!! what does this have to do with GI Joe!!!! 4:49 "Hi! I just decided to unfreeze myself, I hope you don't mind!" 5:55 OOOOOh I get it that's colonel Hawk! I get it now 7:17 so among his abilitys to unfreeze himself, have superstrength, and age rapidly, he also has the ability to create holograms with his nose!, he's like Captain America, except dumb
@RX88D15 жыл бұрын
Sgt. Savage kinda sounds like Scott McNeil
@Dragonrider122715 жыл бұрын

It's OK, but it reminds me of a combination of Nick Fury and the Howling Commandos, Captain America, and Sgt. Slaughter and the Renegades.
@Cavillier197014 жыл бұрын
So technically Sgt. Savage & the Eagles are G I Joes?

I've thought the same thing...it's a bit cliche to use nazis or russians.
@vidguy16 жыл бұрын
WHY did the iron army have to be nazis? DAMMIT, im SICK of people using the nazi's as subject material. is it THAT damn hard for a writer to think of a lunatic megalomaniac powermonger, being from somewhere else, even the USA, or any of its "friend" countries? cmon already, KNOCK IT OFF, with the Russians, or Nazi's being the only real bad guys.
