Is it true that SGU is for pre-meds and pre-vets who couldn't make the cut for American medical schools? I've heard that it's just a very expensive diploma mill. What's the deal?
@BrittneyKilgore3 жыл бұрын
No. They definitely do have a lower GPA requirement so it ends up being another alternative for those students, but its still accredited the same as US Med/Vet Schools so students still learn the same things

Thanks for your entertaining and informative videos BrittnEy! I love your friend Courtney's apartment in True Blue. I have always wanted an outdoor shower and fruit trees in my backyard. The "infinity" pool is fantastic! I will be starting at SGU's SOM in January 2022, living in an on campus studio to start. I am interested in living in a place like Courtney's come summer 2022. I will be staying in Grenada year round. Can you please provide a direct contact for Courtney's landlord (or for similar) spaces so I can get in touch with that party in advance? I hope you and Toulouse are well!

Hi! Courtney is still there so if you don't mind messaging me on Facebook or Instagram, I can exchange contact info if you want! There's LOTS of off-campus housing. More than I could ever put in one video. I can give you more info if you message me! That way I don't have to explain in the comments and it'll be easier lol

Question: when it comes to toilet paper and flushing, are you allowed to flush toilet paper or are the pipes too small and they require you to throw away toilet paper? I know in Nicaragua, Panama and a lot of places in Mexico you cant flush TP... thanks

Appreciate the efforts making this informative video! But what's the price like if you live a bit further from campus? Like in a safe neighborhood and not too far from grocery stores etc. Would it be cheaper that way? Thank you!
@BrittneyKilgore5 жыл бұрын
Most of the housing I showed were not "close" to campus. There are 5 main bus routes, but only some apartments are right outside of campus. For example, I'm relatively close to campus in comparisonof the whole island, but still much further than some student housing. There are some housing far from campus in these areas that are still $1000/month and higher. When you get really far from the school, SGU can't guarantee it's integrity and you find this housing at your own discretion. It would also mean you would need your own transportation

@@martinhuang1750 I don't. I use my cellphone plan from back home. I think it's about 50/50 on students who use them. Health insurance prices can be found on the SGU website. And gas is about $5 US/gallon. You can message me on facebook and I can give more info

Hi I am new to your page and going to be a student August 2022, do you have any videos on Scholarships and how student loans work at SGU?
@BrittneyKilgore2 жыл бұрын
I don't...there are minimal scholarships in the vet program...practically none for american students. Most students rely on loans through FAFSA if you are American or private loans if international. I would contact SGU's financial aid office for more scholarship options

Dominique Stewart I suggest you add the Facebook page. There’s so many possibilities and depends on what you all are looking for. There are some as cheap as $700 up to $2000. When everyone says they have internet and WiFI, is the internet speed good? Or is it super slow and drops out all the time? I think internet speed would be my main concern. Maybe on the campus it is better?
@BrittneyKilgore4 жыл бұрын
My wifi works great at home. I brought a amplifier so it works just as fast in all rooms (it got weaker in my room) but it depends on the apartment. My gf never has an issue with hers. Some people prefer to buy their own but most places for students have good wifi. Campus wifi too is pretty good
