You guys were in the soup! When we were at the Fairy Pools last year those peaks were hidden in the clouds - much like your day! Loose rock, grand adventure!

Great to see you on the Cuillin, been there twice recently. One trip was clag and rain all week the other was wall to wall sunshine. I preferred it in the clag when you couldn't see the drops! Any thanks for doing these magnificent hills justice in your videos. Saved me the bother of taking loads of dodgy pics . Cheers

Cheers Neil! What a fantastic place and we did get both the clag and the sun which I guess is a bonus! I had been looking forward to this adventure for a full year and it didn't dissapoint! An amazing place! The full traverse next!, Paul

We had talked about what it would be like to stay there for a night! A bit damp I guess 🥴🥴. Cracking spot though and definitely a great wee shelter in inclement weather! Have you been up there?? Paul
@alisonlyons4691 Жыл бұрын
No Paul, l havnt, it would be tricky for me these days. But l love watching the more difficult climbs. Ive only done 5 munros but many hills can be more difficult. l was brought up with Ben Wyvis. My dad took me for a first climb when l was about 9.😅 😅

Wow!! Just watched this with my morning coffee, absolutely fantastic, what an experience and no less so because of the conditions, looked scary as hell in places and definitely not for the faint hearted or without a guide, we’ll done Paul and Andy….oh and I say atmospheric too when I really mean totally clagged in and canny see a feckin thing 😂😂😂😂 P.s. hoping to do these this year, which guides did you use 😊
@PAADVENTURES1 Жыл бұрын
Atmospheric captures a whole host of conditions! I need some new adjectives! Amazing hills Steven and very enjoyable even in the clag! The weather did improve as the week went on so we got to see these mountains again! Yeah, we went straight to Kirsty after she took Frank around last year! Very good and very knowledgeable too! I can send you her details if you drop me a wee email. Address on KZbin!!! Thanks again mate! Paul

Such a classic place to walk and scramble. I can completely understand why you had to limit your filming. Plenty to think about keeping your feet in the right places. Definitely a great achievement. Would you go back after finishing your round to take a second look?
@PAADVENTURES1 Жыл бұрын
Yeah Chaz, these are different to how I normally try and show my wee walks...Difficult terrain to film...On the other hand an absolutely fantastic playground! everywhere you look there is an adventure awaiting you. I will definitely go back now I have a feel for it! maybe on round two if I get this one finished!! Paul
@charlesrobert9527 Жыл бұрын
I agree with you. The terrain is so different to anywhere else I have been. You generally can’t just walk back and forth to leave a camera. I suppose a drone for some of it would be good. How were the guides you used about you filming? Did they mind or where they concerned about making progress? I was drawn back this year to have a go at the traverse over two days and loved it but there was even less time to take photos/too knackered to care! But it was brilliant. Still so much more you could do if it weren’t for chasing the round. Anyway you really are getting on to the last quarter of the round. Must feel amazing.
@PAADVENTURES1 Жыл бұрын
@@charlesrobert9527 yeah Chas kirsty was fine with the filming as it didn't really eat into our time! I would have loved to spend more time capturing images but that was really difficult. I would love to do the traverse! Did you do this with a guiding company?
