I never saw this as a late 80s kid.... but used to hear of OTC, Nyayo bus till Manyangas came in mid 90s... I don't think I ever stepped inside a bus till after high school, even Nissan vans were not there!! and I was scared of buses because of the accidents that occurred and some we witnessed on a dead spot corner often and many people died !! I remember running to a accident scene as a kid on day time and heads and body parts were scatted everywhere, 27 people dead..!! No belts those days somewhere 1995... so many people died, so our family wasn't a relative visiting kinda during holidays, so we only enjoyed the TV shows/ KBC TV and played soccer.
