‘Shōgun’: Hiroyuki Sanada on Plans for Even BETTER Seasons 2 & 3 (Exclusive)

Hiroyuki Sanada chatted with “Extra” at a “For Your Consideration” event for the mega hit series “Shōgun” in L.A. He produced the show in addition to starring in it, and he spoke about the pressure of representing Japanese culture and working with a great “East-meets-West dream team.” Hiroyuki also said all the award buzz is “like a dream.” Seasons 2 and 3 are already in development, and he spoke about what will come next beyond the James Clavell novel. In all his interviews he is so appreciative of being selected to be included in whatever role is offered to him. He seems almost embarrassed by all the accolades being heaped upon him, when it is so rightfully, FINALLY, deserved!! He's a great ambassador for his East meets West bridge goal, and I am so happy for him that he is being recognized for his hard work! Plus, he is THE MOST GORGEOUS MAN ON THE PLANET🤤🤤🤩💖💗💓!!!!!!!!!!

It is possible. The original Shōgun series in 1980 certainly did. But I will say, Japanese culture is already popular here! Love from the US.
