Alot of new faces in these Japanese squads. Can someone in Japan tell me if Kazuki Himeno is injured? I can understand you have to seed new players but something seems really off with the selection. Either that, or Eddie has another hand to play.

When italy plays so quick and well can beat everybody, but as soon as they slow down a little they become too vulnerable
@solinvictus12342 ай бұрын
They are tired. Italy is at their ending season, Japan at their season start. The defeat of the Italians with Samoa also underlined the tireness of the players
@nic-ci_66-772 ай бұрын
@@solinvictus1234 for sure, but this same attitude gave to Italy horrible results in the last WRC against super big teams as France and NZ. I hope they stay a little bit afraid.. that's always better than be beaten too hardly

@@nic-ci_66-77 In the last WC they had Crowley as coach. Now they have Quesada that is a different beast, under him Italy made his best 6N ever and reached the 8th place at the worlds ranking. Now they have a great coach and youngs that are becoming great and experienced players. They are becoming a danger for anyone
Too bad Italy dropped the first match against Samoa. But all in all a pretty good tour.
@solinvictus12342 ай бұрын
The Italians did this tour tired af. Basically being at their season ending (and in Italy someone also questioned the meaning of this tour seen how it would have stretched even more important players that haven't any fuel remained on their body). That's why they've dropped the first match vs Samoa and why they wasn't so brillant as in 6N, but playing making lots of mistakes.

A tired Italy at the end of his season defeated a fresh Japan at his season start. So sorry for Japanese people but Eddie Jones wasn't the right call.
@danwong21912 ай бұрын
Bruh, japan is halfway through its season, many players from the jamie Joseph era are retired or resting and getting over injuries eg matsushima, inagaki. Jones just needs to settle on a playing xv rather than changing the team every week. But probably his focus is on the pacific nations cup.
@solinvictus12342 ай бұрын
@@danwong2191 Even worst. I could understand a team that start the season and isn't still at it's peak form, but a team that is halfway trough the season should be in better shape. Missing players are just excuses, Italy missed a lot of players too, for injuries, like Negri, Pani, Lamb, Ioane, Ruzza...all people playing in the starting 15, to say. The true issue of Japan, and i feel sad to say that, is that they've taken too much naturalized oceanian islanders, not growing up properly their younger rugby childs at home. A thing that Italy did and now we are seeying the results. Hope that Japan will spend better their money to growing up home players instead to paying foreigners
