-sprints down street with toast in mouth or w/e they do in anime idk- SORRY I'M LATE! Title: Toshiki Yamamoto's Certainties are society’s absurdities” Hi, it’s Yamamoto Toshiki. Today is Sunday, January 31st. In the video I released yesterday I did some hip thrusts, and today my butt is super stiff and sore. Even walking is painful, so I’m not feeling too great. Today’s training video might not be that interesting to watch. I’m also doing box squats today, so it’ll be the same video as always. My body’s really fatigued, so even though I usually do 10 reps before moving up in weight, today I think it might be better to do about 5 reps. I don’t know how heavy I’ll be able to go, but I’ll do my best today. Without further ado, the training video. 1:30 Showing you every set to make the video longer 4:56 pushed myself to do 5 reps well 5:12 Recently I’ve gained weight so it’s hard to breathe 7:56 form was eh, strength got me there

Outro: All done! Today’s training is the reality of an athlete aiming for the olympics. It’s not interesting at all, is it? Aa if I saw this on KZbin I wouldn’t even watch it, you should all just unsubscribe. (?) Caption: lol I’m in too much pain I’m being so negative Seriously, it’s nothing but this stuff. You might think I’m alone in doing this (??), but what everyone requests vs what I’m doing, and also what everyone imagines, it’s a long way off, it’s really not very interesting. But, this is real, I mean this is… it. I won’t be filming anything more than this (caption: actually what I filed was only 1/3 the workout. From here on out, I’ll just be releasing training videos in this kind of format, so please stick with me. Alright, bye bye! Outro was kind of difficult to translate today, I think he just wants people to see the reality of his training which is different from maybe what people expect to see based on what they see from other weightlifters or on social media or whatever. From the caption it sounds like he was also just ranting because he was in pain but he just wanted to be like "hey this isn't glamorous" and perhaps hinting that he is training other stuff than just squats and bench but he's only showing 1/3 his training in these videos so we don't really know.

I'm assuming the idea of doing box squats is to isolate the quads as the shins look even more vertical than doing front squats. So the benefit is quad isolation and growth/strength ?
