授人以魚,不如授人以漁 Give people fish and you feed them for a day. Teach them how to fish and you feed them for a lifetime. That's true sustainability! Great job!! 👍
Sending money to the poor is not the ultimate way to solve poverty. To give the poor resources, such as education resource, job opportunity and skills , is the best way to solve it .

It's so impressive Jerry that you've managed to climb to the top of the mountain and reached the village of the cliff!!!!! I was so scared to even just by watching you climbing! :-) You've had a courageous heart! Thank you for taking such a challenging journey and sharing this wonderful video!
When I studied in Australia 20 years ago, ny professor said the same thing. To break poverty cycle, you can't just give food and money. You have to help them get jobs and education is one of the best way to break tye cycle forever. I guess, US government understands this really well ( all governments do, it's not rocket science), however, it's harder to achieve and results are not obvious in short term ( precisely within their term in office).
@barnabyfoster63943 жыл бұрын
In fact, the US government also understands what you said that they do not do it mainly because they need the gap between the rich and the poor and a sense of class.

It is because that the us president serve by terms and the Chinese government does not, in order for the president to win the next election, they just can not waste resources in long term plans
You got a good point, the way Chinese government is doing providing long term support for those people, education and infrastructure improves their quality of life and future work skills.
Please do more program in English. Chinese people have other sources to learn about these in Chinese. More English speaking people need to learn about these. Thank you! Keep up the good work!

You're already quite good in terms of use of words and grammar structures but your pronunciation is, IMHO, poorer relative to some other Mandarin-speaking Westerners that I follow on YT. I suggest plenty of _listening_ to native speakers whether in daily conversation or news/media. All that aside, I can hear improvement already since you returned to China, so keep up the good work and burn them tones into your brain circuits 💪💪!
