Yeah. In the VN, there are some references made to light's previous work: Dies Irae. There's even a couple of tracks that were arranged from that VN.

In Theory, Shiori should win due to Taikyoku value alone. But due to how Machinas Beri'ah works, its ultimately a matter of who gets the first strike in. And considering the nature of Shioris Law its really not clear whether Machinas Beri'ah will affect only her or all the alternate selves she summons at once. If it only affects the Shiori he hits, then Shiori beats him hands down. If it affects ALL Shioris then Machina should be able to still One-Shot her.
