2001年,Cannondale MX400挾帶著「全美國製造」夢想發表,一度是美國兩輪界最期待的摩托車,但實際造出來的車卻問題一大堆,車媒沒有一家好評,賽道上敬陪末座,銷量與客戶評價更是慘淡,推出兩年就導致Cannondale宣告破產。

放心,如果在台灣,政府就好無償補助你70年,甚至違限禁售進口車進口,最後該車廠雖然連一顆正常的引擎都開發不出來,卻在百貨公司,貸款融資,房地產,律師產業發展的有聲有色,至於車嗎......那就就找一個英國品牌大陸零件台灣組裝生產的就好啦😂😂😂

後來台中的「鼎力金屬工業」將越野機車以及ATV的設計資料以及模具全部買下來,也延攬了國外的工程師來台灣,對外表示將開始進軍大排氣量的ATV以及大型重型機車的生產代工,跟黑白兩道都借了一堆錢之後蓋了二廠,似乎前景一片美好的時候老闆捲款逃到國外,公司就這樣倒了,當然這些造車計畫也就沒有了。

請來越野車手操刀卻沒有自己去試車debug? 納智捷請水野來操刀最起碼還有去跑賽道debug, 這會倒真的剛好而已...

想不到居然看到康納的週末夜😂 當年在瘋公路車時曾擁有一輛Cannondale SuperSix Evo HiMod,還是很亮眼的綠色車隊版,原來Cannondale也有生產摩托車喔

就上賽道的那台啊,等那台上去以後才發現進氣道問題 這"原型車"就跑個一次賽事,小改一下就上市了 就像影片結尾說的,很多車廠都表示開發一台新車得花1億美金+5年測試 於是他們用了2千萬開發跟8千萬損失來學到這個教訓

As for my background, for the past 40+ years, I've been a very keen motocross and mountain-bike (particularly downhill MTB) enthusiast and racer. Since I was paying my own way into racing, I am very pragmatic and practical. I have changed innumerable bike frames and components, ending up with only top quality equipment used. I have no loyalty to stick to any particular brands (whether they are popular or not). Let me tell you, Cannondale made very poor quality bikes, both in terms of workmanship (totally sloppy welds, which they always have to grind/sand down) and materials used. Well, they were an American manufacturer, their design 'presentation' appears like they're on top of the game to the non-enthusiasts, and they did their marketing well. Unfortunately in competitive racing, we are only interested in what works, functional effective and reliable (which Cannondale had all failed). In reality, none of my keen racer friends rode them!

@@isleter88 To be honest, I would say it's "genetically-predetermined"... they never had a history nor any experience in making motorcycles (we won't even talk about the fierce competition in motocross racing technology). Even outsourcing all parts (from well-known established engine maker Rotax, Ohlins suspensions...etc), they had no clues to how things are done properly. Shortcut overnight successes simply don't exist. Japanese motorcycle manufacturers (like Honda & Yamaha) were started by keen passionate engineers who have devoted and committed all their resources towards engineering perfection. Like I mentioned before, Cannondale's earlier success was really attributed by how well they marketed their mediocre quality bicycles, rather than a result of ingenious innovative engineering.

笑死 摩托車真的不是簡單的東西尤其是引擎跟重量還有動力的要求並不是一家專攻汽車引擎製造商就能做出中高賽事的引擎 你起碼也先用小排量經濟型車款練手 然後一開始看到車架進氣哈哈你是在開玩笑嗎 你看看小排量速可達的進氣口就多大了你還想要這樣搞

摩托車行駛的動態跟飛行器很像,3d的動態。四輪的動態只是2d 造摩托車強企業的都曾經是航空飛行器的企業,如日本二戰後許多航空飛行器的設計師只能轉行改造摩托車 所以日系摩托車幾乎踏平了摩托車市場🤣 歐洲就BMW,也曾經是航空飛行器的企業
