Thanks! I’ve been listening to BLS since 2000. I remember learning and jamming all the old shit with my buddy. Good times. Then 1919 Eternal came out and blew my mind. The good old Zakk before the long beard. When he was still wearing those bell bottoms. Haha. Good shit.

Surprised to see they're using legitimate mother of pearl inlays on a guitar in that price range. That's pretty rare to see on an asian import guitar that isn't from a custom shop. Pearloid or abalone is much cheaper to source and use and keeps prices down, and thats why you usually see it plastered all over korean imports. Like those over the top GAUDY EC-1000 models that have excessive abalone binding all over the place.

@@StusWorld Ever considered doing any turorial type lessons on shred guitar? Cause myself and im sure alot of others would really enjoy that and also get alot out of it
@StusWorld3 жыл бұрын
@@hauntedchannel9163 I do have some videos under my “road less taught” playlist that goes over some playing techniques. It’s something that I do plan on expanding into sweep picking and all that. Unfortunately, I was the victim of a hit and run accident and my spinal cord was injured. My arms and hands don’t function quite right. I can play at slower speeds but everything falls apart when I try to speed it up. I will get better and get back to shredding.

The inlays are huge on wylde audio guitars does that do anything for sound or are they only for looks i dig them!!
@StusWorld3 жыл бұрын
I don’t think the size of the inlays has much of an impact on the tone but it sure is unique. 🤘🤘

Nothing for sound but man does it make it easier to know what note you’re hitting

so this guitar is not for little hand guy like me? i i play Jackson guitars and the neck is very thin...this will kill my fingers? someone answer 😭😭😭, im a BLS fan 2...
@StusWorld6 жыл бұрын
I have small hands too. It will take some getting used to but I think you will be fine. The large neck is great for hitting some big bends and really digging into the guitar. I mostly play Jackson too so the change from the Jackson neck to the Wylde Audio might tire your hand out at first......but once you get used to it, you will be crushing it!!

Some people say that it feels cheap...did it feel that way?
@StusWorld6 жыл бұрын
It’s on the cheaper feeling side but not “cheap”. If that makes sense. I guess that was a 1st generation Wylde Audio guitar. Episode 3 will have a newer generation Odin. Much much better.

Stu's World i see...i ordered the odin redrum. It.s normally from the same production but it has the flame top and it.s glossed over, so i.m not worrying about the cheap feeling of the guitar body. What i.m worring about it that the fretboard doesn.t feel like real wood and not being rounded on the edges and well as sharp frets...anyway great review man and i.m looking forward to the next one! Cheers
@StusWorld6 жыл бұрын
I didn’t notice anything like that with the neck. The necks are, generally, 3-piece maple necks with ebony fretboard. Hopefully those reports were early run imperfections that have since been eliminated. Let me know what you think of the redrum. I think that’s a cool finish.

go to the Agufish channel....i also thought looks cheap cuz the black details on the boddy looked like someone took a les Paul and cutted out some duct tape to make the bull eye graphic

I’m looking at buying a Wylde Nomad and love the tone that the chick in this video pulls off with this Wylde Odin. What pedals do you think she might be using? kzbin.info/www/bejne/pn6qfIF4mNiXb9E

and you can still play that face even when shItfaced!! LOL does it make pinch harmonics if you just think about it? (^_^)

Lol. Yeah pretty much! It’s hard to play a Wylde Audio guitar and not pinch the shit out of it. Hahaha
