the actual song is about a straight trans women (born male, attracted to men, is female) who is forced to still act as a man because of societal standards (being portrayed as a villian). If you want a really good English cover, you can look up the English version by demondice and the shooshimooshi video has a good reaction and explanation for the song

I like that interpretation! Yeah, the original song is about a trans person but like the other replies said that doesn't exactly fit into Childe's character. Even though we know what the songs about (and I in no way mean to devalue or insult the trans community when I say this) we can still have other ideas of it, and that's a cool one!

@@Laaras_Channel in the original, it has the main character pretending to be a man because of what people expects of her,. Lyrics like "villain" and "pretend to be a man" might imply that she feels guilty (like a villain) for doing so, like she's lying. I think the artist took those feelings of lying anr feeling like a villain and added them to childe. But that's just my interpretation on it.
