Sorry for replying to my own comment so much but i noticed that in 2:16 the thumbs on the hands were facing inwards, and if they were his own hands, they would be facing outwards, so they might be Cognitive Akechi’s hands… it still could be a metaphor for Akechi wishing he was dead though because the real Akechi was holding a crow in the frame before
