AAAAAA I LOVE VIL.... I LOVE CHAPTER 5.... I LOVE POMEFIORE SO MUCH 😭 anyways please let me ramble a little
like some people say the title for chapter 5, "The Beautiful Opressor" isn't only about Vil's strictness towards Epel and the others, but especially to himself as well.
Copy pasting a comment by Latency from the original video about the song interpretation :
"Rather than a child literally compared by someone else to their peers, I see it more like an internal conflict. The blue girl has high expectations of herself (with the orange girl representing her "perfect self"), but she often fails to live up to those expectations and hates herself for it. Towards the end of the song she comes to terms with not being able to meet those expectations and accepts herself the way she is."
I think it fits with vil, albeit not 100% . So that's why i chose this song!
