Sha'Carri Richardson wins Women's 100m final at the US Olympic trials in 10.86, qualifying for 2021 Tokyo Olympic, however, she tested positive for a banned substance, marijuana. She rose to fame in 2019 as a freshman at Louisiana State University, running 10.75 seconds to break the 100 m record at the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Championships.

This is the first time I've seen a Sha'Carri video despite hearing a lot about her because of the Olympic ban controversy and the recent race where she came last at the Prefontaine Classic. All I can say is people can talk bad about her all they want but I'm actually amazed at how easily she pulled off a sub 10.70 standing at only 5'1. She absolutely has top tier raw talent. Losing your parents is never easy so I hope she is able to bounce back in the near future.
