When people innovate, others will imitate. It’s how it always is. The imitators just ride the wave and in some instances it may work for a little while only because that style is new and so a lot of people don’t or won’t really know who the real innovator is due to “everyone sounding the same”. Once that wave calms down, and it’s not so new, people will eventually figure out who the real source is and that’s where those real fans of that style will gravitate to. The imitators will either just fall off or they will be on to the next wave, trying to imitate someone else. That’s almost always how it works. Time will tell. Just stay working and creating.
