I agree, but not all of them are as you see here. Johnny Contardo, the lead singer for the band now has white hair, and he's just one I know about. I think the show last aired in 1981, or 32 years ago. If they are all alive and in condition to sing, it would be nice to have a reunion show. These fellows are in their late 50's and 60's easy.

This is a great video. To JoeyMars1 who asked about Bobby Rush, the answer is definitely NO! Bobby (not his real name) is a south Florida entertainer who tells people that he was Jocko from Sha Na Na. He is NOT (although he is a great entertainer.) I know the real Jocko and Bobby is not him, nor has Bobby ever had anything to do with Sha Na Na.

First of all, ridiculously cool that you would respond to my comment. Second, that confirms my suspicions. Every so often on those "live" bits, I'd notice applause coming from an audience that was very obviously sitting still on camera. Third, I actually met you guys backstage (Valley Forge, PA) as a little kid years ago. I'm guessing 1983, at the latest. One thing that's stuck with me from that meet-and-greet was how friendly everyone was to us, and your response today proves that my memories of that are accurate. I'm very grateful, these years later, to be able to thank you for providing a good bit of the soundtrack to my childhood. (And I can't wait to tell my folks about this.)
