Original Tradition of kirtan should be done in raag using string instrument like dilruba, taus , sarood etc. And using jori type of table. God bless you a lot 🙏❤️🙏

This Dhurpada is said to be the original of Nanak V SatGuru Arjan Dev Ji. The shabad reet has been sung in Raag Bilaawal and the taal used is chartaal/chautaal(12 beats). Bhai Swaran Singh does a brilliant job with the Jori-pakhawaj (NOT tabla ; Guru Arjan's invention and NOT of Bhai Satta Balwanda ; Jori -pakhawaj is basically the single drum of pakhawaj split into two parts - all this info is from Bhai Baldeep Singh - the current head of the school of Punjab's Pakhawaj and also the 13 th generation exponent of Gurbani Kirtan Parampara). The intro ("Manglacharan") from 00:32 to 05:39 is also traditionally done in chartaal. "Anand Gun Nidhan Guru Gareeb Nivaaj. Nimanea de man. Nitanea de tan. Niotea di ot Satguru. Niasaria da asara. Nigatea di gat Satguru. Nipatea di Pat. Waheguru." (This manglacharan is not in any Sikh granth) It then switches to the chhoti teental (16 beats; different from oridnary teentaal in terms of its distinct chaal/swagger), but that is a different shabad reet from the chartaal one.
