Sabarimala Temple is a Hindu temple located in the Periyar Tiger Reserve in the Western Ghat mountain ranges of Pathanamthitta District, Kerala. It is one of the most famous and important pilgrimage sites in India. The temple is dedicated to Lord Ayyappa, who is believed to be the son of Shiva and Mohini (the female form of Vishnu). The temple is open to all devotees, regardless of caste, creed, or gender, except for women between the ages of 10 and 50.
