It is always a pleasure listening to Shabbar Zaidi Sahab. If Pakistan is serious about resuming trade with India, then they should unilaterally announce that they are giving India transit rights through Pakistan. This will also be a good source of income for Pakistan. After all, India did unilaterally give Pakistan MFN (Most Favoured Nation) status, which Pakistan never reciprocated. It was Pakistan which decided to stop trading with India. It was Pakistan's decision to lower diplomatic ties with India. Now, it is for Pakistan to take a positive initiative. They should also stop harping on Kashmir.

The Indian National Congress (INC) held a significant economic summit during its Karachi session in March 1931. This session was notable for its focus on economic issues, where resolutions were passed regarding Fundamental Rights and a National Economic Programme. The session was presided over by Vallabhbhai Patel, and it aimed to address the economic challenges facing India under British rule, emphasizing the need for economic reforms and social justice. During this session, the INC articulated a vision for India's economic future, which included the promotion of self-sufficiency and the establishment of a planned economy that would prioritize the welfare of the Indian populace. The resolutions passed at this summit laid the groundwork for future economic policies post-independence.

Excellent & thought provoking speach by Mr Zaidi. Thank you. On his point on enabling IPI , while this could greatly benefit Pak, but doubtful on current situation. Reason being, 1) India - Quater long term LNG deal. As India bound to buy, it can't import Iran gas. 2) India - Russia oil deal - this significantly diversified oil option and Iran need to be very competitive for india to buy large scale. 3) US/western influence - obviously, large scale import frim Iran is a problem for India. Pakistan didn't capitalise IPI when it was needed by India. Now india (and several shipping companies) already put in place large infrastructure, viability of IPI is not visible. On Mr Zaidi's point on Kashmir -- very true. Pakistan could have been the biggest beneficiary of Indian economic growth among it neighbours, but Kashmir had completely blocked it. Chinese doing 200 billion USD trade with thia very large consumer market in its boarder, so does Bangladesh. With Kashmir as a road blockade, Pakistan missing it's biggest opportunity to engage with 5th largest economy of the world.

You are very right Sir. Indian National Congress had policies and plans to deal with issues which they expected to confront immediately after independence. They abolished feudal system (zamindary ) and established Panchaiti system to strengthen the local bodies and entrust the rural population with the responsibility to deal with their local problems as well as prepare them selves for regional and national politics. Their Foreign Policy was framed and motivated by their national economic interests . Where as ,after independence, we found ourselves in a blind alley , which has become blinder and darker with the passage of time.

Mr. Shabar Zaidi is saying that regarding the election of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, all the seats in the Kashmir division have been won by Farooq Abdullah's National Conference and all the seats have been won by the BJP in Jammu. I want to correct here that There were a total of 47 seats in the Kashmir division, of which 41 were won by the alliance of the National Conference and the Indian National Congress. BJP did not get any seats while PDP (Mufti Saeed) party got 3 seats and won three independents. Moreover, Kashmir has a huge majority of Muslims which is 97% now talking about Jammu. Jammu is more than 70% Hindu, the alliance of National Conference and Congress won 8 seats out of total 43 seats while BJP won 29 seats and PDP Mehbooba Mufti who is the daughter of Mufti Saeed. did not win any seats and 6 Azad won... Total seats in Kashmir Assembly are 119 out of which 90 are directly elected and 5 are reserved and 24 are reserved for Azad Kashmir because according to them Pakistan has occupied Azad Kashmir........ Election results have been announced on 1st October 2024...... Nawaz Ahmad Lone Lecturer

Mohajirs r like that. Specially the ones belong to Mughaliya aristocratic families of UP and delhi. They were elites of UP for 500 years . For 500 years UP main culture was evolved by them . And most important part of that elite were the Shia syeds whose families came from Iran and Brahmins who converted to Syed . Thanks to Sher Shah who pushed humayun to iran where he became immersed in shia Persian tradition and brought back Persian artists scholars etc and they remained Core of Mughaliya intellect till aurangzeb. Shia and Persian were also supremacists like turranis Afghans etc but they took pride in intellectual capacity and culture rathar than Muscles and killing capacity as like turranis Afghans. Though these Mughaliya elite were also Forefront of making Pakistan and most left UP Delhi , so today the lot which is left in india aren't that intellectual or good, most r lower caste converts who never had tradition of thinking intellectual discourse. Some elites who were left like Javed sahib , Nasruddin sahib etc look at their discourse , they r highly intellectual people. Mr shabbar also seem to belong to this kind of aristocratic family. In UP most shia specially syeds r very good people. Though they feel offended by rise of BJP but they know the underlying factors well . The Sunnis in UP , whole society is hijacked by molanas , and even their Mughaliya elite families et al r quite hardcore Islamists and most seem to be deobandis. Barelvis r the masses and poor lot and their thinking and education capacity is even less, most of them r lower caste converts and with less education never able to rise faster. The educated muslims in UP who r serving in modern economic services sectors like govt jobs banks r also good. They talk abt politics very less . Rest all others in cities have captured Whole markets as Old myghaliya markets r the one which r still main markets in UP. These PPL r very kattar , reactionary PELT stone create conflict. Influenced heavily by saudi Wahabism and deobandis. The Moslem in villages 95% if them r convert and u will find one or two big families living in towns which have been the Big zamindar of these villages they have been the Mughaliya elite. They were and still r very rich . Have lost their jagir but have lot of Prime Land in main markets and towns . These pol remain secluded , as they r surrounded by Hindus and New hindu bossiness all around. But villager Moslems r same and village hindus . They aren't kattar and all. They don't know much ant the world like a villager. I think in UP if these elites would have stayed and the converted masses wud have moved to Pakistan UP wud have been much better place. Also UP never has such kind of riot and forceful eviction of muslims like punjab bengal had. Though I want to add abt AMU as I had visited there as part of my university team in their Litt fest. Literally the univ is still living in Syed Ahmed era of pre independence. Indian govt pays 5000crore plus INR yearly and i wud say all that is waste. When we reached there , they gave introductory session In sir Syed Hall.. the talk was all Abt praising Osama 🙄, praising Yvonne ridely BcoZ she accepted islam under Talib hostage , I never knew abt her b4 or Nvr cared Abt Afghan war in those days (she is 100% British Agent infiltrated talibs), a Prof named shakeel e shamdani was all along with us kept behaving as Mughaliya aristocrat, kept praising Mughaliya traditions etc 😀 gave hardcore Islamist speech in introduction session . Then we start campus tour and went straight to Book marts opened all over the campus as par of Litt fest , when I start looking for books and read them every single book was abt Islam 🤮 like why its haram to eat Pork, whole book was dedicated to it , islam me waju ki importance .. bla bla my Muslim pathan friend from ayodhya also got ashamed of it and cudnt speak much we instantly moved away. Soon we met an English prof he looked like Talib with massive beard without moustache. Most girls covered in black tent🙄. Last day at ending session was abt speech and debate. Most speech were said to be in urdu which I cudnt understand they spoke Persian called it urdu , one guy spoke abt ladiniyat which I cudnt understand later my Muslim friend told me it's abt atheism. And finally in debate topic again was RELIGION🙄 some guys from Haridwar University gurukl kangri were defending Geeta and all and cudnt talk a word abt Islam as we know what will happen and then AMU side talked abt islamic praise. I stayed 3 days. In night time we thought we will meet with girls of AMU as some party was thrown by AMU students. We reached spot found out it was MALE only and we had to sit and enjoy Qawwali which i never liked 🙄 Only one thing was Best and that was the FOOD 😘👌 great food also their hospitality. I hve also also visited BHU many many times and it is 100x advance than AMU in sciences and modernity and no talk of hinduism and drama take place there. Though I went for my master in IIT which is amazing place 😍 even it's air is full of Science rationality and intellect. Will never forget my IIT days.

The three primary factors driving Pakistan’s economic decline and contributing to its poverty: Hostility toward India - Decades of entrenched animosity and conflict with India have drained vital resources and diverted attention from critical areas of economic development. The heavy focus on military expenditure and rivalry has stunted growth and hindered the pursuit of regional cooperation, which could unlock immense economic potential. Overpopulation - The unchecked growth in population has stretched Pakistan’s already limited resources, overwhelming its infrastructure, healthcare, and education systems. This demographic pressure continues to impede efforts at sustainable development, preventing the nation from harnessing its human capital effectively. Political instability - Chronic political volatility, marked by frequent leadership changes, governance failures, and endemic corruption, has eroded investor confidence and stifled long-term economic planning. Without stable leadership and sound policies, economic progress remains elusive, trapping the country in a cycle of underdevelopment.
