This is just my cup of tea ☕️ must admit I’m happier now as I don’t always reach for vintage photo, I really don’t like grungy (that’s only me personally, it wouldn’t do for us all to be the same) I’d have inked in a green and not covered the stem and leaves in the first one....by the way the rose is absolutely beautiful!!! Thank you for all the time and thought you put in these videos they really are very much appreciated. Bye for now 💁🏼♀️

As always love, love, love! Thank you. My cheesecloth doesnt look anything like yours. It has a very open weave almost like burlap but very light. Your cheesecloth looks to have a very tight weave and i like it much better. Are there more than one or two types of cheesecloth?
@nancykirk89134 жыл бұрын
Iagree Susan. Here in the US what we or calling cheesecloth doesn't look nearly as luxurious or fine as what you were using and calling it cheesecloth Gi????? Do you know what it may relate to or compare to in the US? Or, maybe have a link as to where you purchase it? PLEEEZE ANSWER!!!!! tHANKS SO MUCH!!!!
@tamielizabethallaway24134 жыл бұрын
@@nancykirk8913 hi ladies.... I'm in UK, Gi is in Portugal, so we may all have different types lol! You can find cheesecloth listed under many names, not just cheesecloth. Although it's called that, many sellers will list it under what they think it's called, or what it's called in their country, or what it then translates to in English for the purposes of the listing! Also many sellers will list it under a whole sentence of names, in the hope of diverting buyers to their listing, no matter which word they actually typed in! You know like when you search for LACE for example, and you'll get results with lace, ribbons, trim, seam binding, cords, edging, etc etc and you think "AAAaaaarrrggghhhh I just want lace!!!" So my point is, better to type in lots of variables, to yield as many different listings / sellers / types or varieties as possible! Try searching for: Cheesecloth Cheese Cloth Cheese fabric Cheese material Butter cloth Butter fabric Butter material Straining cloth Straining fabric Straining material Open weave cloth Open weave fabric Open weave material Jam cloth Gauze Cotton mesh Fine cotton Open weave cotton Muslin ******** Etc etc! I know it's tiresome but sometimes the listings are right there, waiting to be discovered, but been listed by someone from India or Japan and they have different words and translations or interpretations of what we call things! That's how I found out that someone in India I bought from calls it butter cloth! One of the BEST versions of cheesecloth is gauze! Gauze bandages from our Poundland or your Dollar Tree. The really cheap ones! It can be tea dyed just the same or coloured, and is super lightweight and very very thin and shabby! It may take a while, but be prepared to find the best cheesecloth ever under the listing, *"Open weave muslin gauze cheesecloth butter straining cotton fabric material"* because no doubt someone's typed that whole thing in the listing description! I'll have a look on my eBay here and see what pops up my end for you! Good luck! xxxxx 😘😘😘

Tami Elizabeth Allaway oh my word, ha ha!!! I’m laughing because of all those various names, will we ever know what Gi uses!!! I really appreciate your help and explanation, that was very sweet of you and very informative too!!! Thanks so much for your help!! Big hugs to you❤️
@tamielizabethallaway24134 жыл бұрын
@@nancykirk8913 i would say the last 2 listings I put links to are the closest to what Gi uses! Besides that, even she has used many types in her videos where she's ordered it and got a different type posted out! Look at those last two links, ^^^ the very thin one that's five yards long, or the one above that, that is 2½ metres wide and buy in metre lengths. The last one is the most fine and shabby! And approx $5. 😘😘😘
