I remember that “struggle” when my kids were little but, cheer up because it’s COMPLETELY the opposite when you are a grandmother - you are suddenly awestruck with adoration for every little thing they do! 👶

I love your sharing w us! I'm still biting my tongue re: "strong advice." My child's now 6'3" & genuinely an adult! I realize he's bright, & was raised to think for himself, so I force myself to just let it go! I saw that Killer Whale documentary too. Those poor doomed seals. So heartbreaking. But then I saw another where it really showed how much of a family the Orcas are within their pods & how they depend on each other. Very difficult to watch tho... The world's definitely opened up re: needing to stay tethered in 1 place for a job, etc. Perhaps you could arrange a longer stay-cation in Thailand to see how you like it. Maybe a house sitting situation or something like that. I've been so lucky to have lived in Europe in several places due to my husband's job. Plus traveled a lot all my life; w/ family / husband & alone, both before I had met him and then after he passed away. Your likes & needs change dramatically as you grow older too. Pay attention to availability of decent health especially. I flew back to the US for my annual exam because I loved my OB-GYN! Took too long to find her! And it was very hard to find a comfortable hair stylist! It's so funny what you'll miss when you're elsewhere. Much easier to get homey stuff now but shipping $$$ may eliminate any longings! Until yiu canbactually travel, you could try living as tho you were there...eating only what's available there, avoiding everything that you won't have there, etc. Even try to duplicate wearing similar clothing, etc. Might help you start on a wonderful journey. Bon Voyage! XO ✨️

Had to laugh about your daughter wanting to spend her pocket money on sweets. When my grandson got his first paycheque from his part time job he promptly went to the grocery store and spent $80. on snacks! 😂. Definitely not what I would have suggested but hey, he didn’t ask. Another great video. Hugs and blessings, 🤗❤️🇨🇦

Exquisite Tina. My daughter and her hubby went to Thailand with their besties. They were Maid of honor and groomsmen here in the besties wedding. Then they had a traditional wedding there for the grooms family. They were blessed to see so much of the country. As a matter of fact they saw parts of the country that were erased by a tsunami a year later. I listen to my grown children but I don't get involved in their disputes. Thanks for hanging out and having a playdate with me. I was able to do a lot of stuff in a glue book. Huge HUGS! Namesta 🐞🐞🐞

I bet they had a great time on their trip to Thailand, especially with the grooms family who knew the area and best places to see. Was that the big tsunami of 2004? Or another more recently? Gosh you’re good not getting involved, it’s soooooo hard sometimes 🤔🥴. Thank you for hanging out with me and glad it was a productive hour in your glue book, have a fab day xx

A few hours ago my grown son and I returned from a trip more than halfway across the country to a state we are now hoping to move to in a little over a year. He'd been there this past summer so knew his way around quite well and still I had a heck of a time keeping quiet about "turn here" and "go that way", so yeah, no, it never gets easier to not "mother" your children. 😫 You're alright! 🥴 Love you, sweetie, MK 🤗❤️🌵❤️🤗

Hi, I have been enjoying your videos for such a long time, but first time to comment, cos I just want to say thank you for sharing your joyful and deceptively spontaneous style! Sometimes I think, ‘no don’t put it there’, and then always have to wind my neck in, cos at the end of the make it always proves Tina Knows Best! And for sharing your heart too! As for being a mum, yeah we all do the don’t spend it on sweets thing, you are not alone! We’re mums and part of our job is to encourage them to make the ‘wise and sensible’ choices, but some times it’s their job to challenge us to see the joy in making the slightly silly ones. It’s taken years to learn that with my sons, you sound like you’ve got there a lot quicker than I did! Bless you x

I am also a little to controlling what my kids buy with their pockets money (I know it is there money and they must learn to make their own choices, but it is not easy). Lol you have more glue issues than anyone I've known🙈. Hope you're feeling less shaky today🤗. I find the little quilting clips very handy and quicker, you get loads really cheaply too! Nice kit idea. Lol British weather highs "at least it's not raining" 🙊. A musical? 🙈. Yeah the book is always better for me too. You've got to admire the pure bravery and kindness of those who saved Jewish people, especially the children. Oh I definitely want to see the Bob Marley film, I loved him! The guy looks perfect for it. It's my favourite accent too (Irish being a very close second).lol yes we have to really bite our Mum tongues😄. Lol I made my son a spider costume, looked fab but cumbersome and he wore it all day bless him. Oh no, right up to the school gate? 🙈. KIDS! Mind you we didn't listen either😄. Yep, were soft touches! We make the rules then get all soft 🙈. We still have to limit the sugar though so you weren't wrong! Hard not to be a 'helicopter mum' 🙊. It's not just you🤗. Lol it'll be Christmas again in a minute🙈. Exercise is the one thing I miss the most, I love how it made me feel, emotionally and physically. Lol could do with more bin collections for what we pay! 30p???😱 whaaaat? It's 50p to 'spend a penny' 😄. Postage is probably cheap too. After 34 years together we don't bother with Valentine's day 😄. Yes nature is brutal🙈. Those papers are good for anniversaries too. Tfs and have a great day 💖💖💖

The 90s are filled with shows of sexual innuendo between adults that goes right over the kids' heads. I don't have a problem with that. The problem is when the children themselves are acting out those scenes, or heaven forbid, are aware of what they are being asked to do (the worst). He knew what he was doing then; he knows now what he did; and the only reason he gives two-shits about it is that he's now being called out on it. The bottom line is that he used his power to manipulate. It's happened before, it's happening now, and it will continue to happen.. "You made me do it." Words we hear from manipulators over-and-over. "Sorry, but not sorry" is their motto.
