Your 'journal' idea is wonderful! I have a flier from a pharmacy, I think it was. It unfolds, in two directions, to 8 pages. I gesso-ed and painted the pages and use it for 'sampling' ideas - a different idea per page, front and back. So, 16 pages of experiments and piddling around. I've been having a ball playing in it! Just like you are! LOL Have fun! And, thanks!

@@shabbydabbydoodah The group is The Mixed Media Emporium. There is a main challenge theme for each month and then separate weekly challenges that go along with it. One bit of 'warning' in this group, Nina and Kylie are very strict about following the prompts as they are presented, nothing is permitted for posting that does not follow the challenge prompts, but that is what I LOVE about challenges, that there are rules to follow and no place for whining 😏 I leave the anything goes and there are no rules mentality for my own private art projects 😊
