Hello, I'm fairly new to sewing. Your video has inspired me. I do have 2 questions. 1. Do you have a previous video that will show us how to hand sew thick fabrics? I have moderate to sever arthritis in my hands. Any needle assistants you may know about I would appreciate any ideas you may have. The top point and the tree skirt will need to be done by hand. Unless there a tool to help push a needle I don't know if I can do any hand sewing. 2. I have a Brother 2700 machine. Do I have to quilt the trees? I'm a new sewer. I have no idea about quilting Thank you for taking the time to answer my questions.
@ShabbyFabrics5 жыл бұрын
Hello, I would use a metal thimble to push the needle through the fabrics. Yes, the trees need to be quilted, otherwise the batting shrinks and the fabric does not. Any type of simple quilting will work on these, so have fun! Happy Quilting! ~ Tammy
@twinzmonstermaymay38895 жыл бұрын
Tammy, Thank you so much for your reply. Will a simple diamond or square pattern work on the trees. I will do best on a pattern I can draw on the tree pages.

Hi Lisa! We'd love to help guide you with this! It may be preferable to message us through Facebook or Instagram so you can show us what you're working with. The batting that is used for this project is packages of heat - heat- moldable batting by Bosal or you can use heat and shape moldable batting by Innovative Craft Projects. - Yajaira
