Shabir’s Dream: A Life Beyond Hardship - Can You Help Him Achieve It?

This is Shabir and his mother. They live in rural Bihar, India. They live in a mud hut by a rice field where his mother works. Shabir was born with no left arm, no right hand and several toes missing. He is very helpless without his mother’s help and cannot perform the most basic of tasks.
His mother works hard in the hot sun and comes back in the evening to cook, feed and look after her son. She is exhausted and is worried if she is sick or something happens to her, Shabir will be helpless. He doesn’t go to school as she can’t afford to send him. Plus, the care he needs is not available at the local school. Shabir dreams that he can get an education and grow up and get a good job, to look after his mother and himself.
