what’s wild to me is shaboozey used to come to my college to do lil concerts back in like 2019. he was an underground VA-based rapper, and not many ppl knew about him at the time. i’d hear his name every now and then because a couple people I was around used to keep heavy tabs on VA based rappers, I think some knew him personally¿ anyways, I don’t really listen to country but for some reason I looked up the top country charts and i’m like man-SHABOOZEY??? THEEEE SHABOOZEY? at the top of the COUNTRY charts? and now seeing one of my favorite christian rappers of all time covering him is just wild lol.
