Back to the roots is right! A lot of folks have no idea that the roots of country/bluegrass/rock music is Black and that White folks rebranded and marketed country as White during Jim Crow times, hiding the Black musicians/artists. Black people even brought the banjo from West Africa to the USA. Obviously, the Black folks mixed with the White Scots-Irish-Anglo immigrants and they made the music together, but the point is history has hidden the Black roots and claimed country as White. And it's just not true! Love seeing Black people reclaiming this music.
