I can tell you guys right now.. I’m an old white dude from the south.. and I would pay good money to see this guy sing.. don’t care where you’re from..I don’t care what color you are.. don’t care what religion you are… this song will bring everyone together and end racism..

They are not “using him because he’s black”. He found a pocket in which he can bring black culture in the country space and do it impeccably. It’s a perfect combo of hip hop and country and makes you instantly smile and dance. You can’t help yourself.

If I'm not mistaken Shaboozey helped Beyonce produce Her country album. He's been doing this much longer than Her. And in my opinion Shaboozey is much better at His craft. I can't hear enough of this Man.

Most country artists are white but black country artists are nothing new. Charlie Pride was certainly old school country. And there are some terrific black country artists today, like Darius Rucker. Contrary to a common prejudice some hold regarding country fans they love all artists who bring country soul to their music...race has never been an issue. Perhaps I should note I've been a country fan, among other genres, for more than 40 years and I worked security at country concerts many years ago (great crowds).

Best, click to rewind 10 sec each time you interrupt the play to allow your viewers to follow it more orderly. As the first time visitor here, I suspect that your sign "Pastor vs Producer" does not match your actual sitting sides. Nice reaction.

He doesn't need to be in front of a bar with black people, if that was my bar he'd be more than welcome, why can't we just look at each other as that guy or that dude ,I hate that everyone refers to that black guy or that black woman

OK, I'm White, And, at this point in my life(63) I've gone country(lyric), and to be honest. Black Music Canada, is a first channel watch for me.. I might sub, but I'll have to sheck the channel first... so... SO.... you seem surprised to hear a black man do country... like I said, I'm 63.. ever heard of Charlie Pride? No? how about Darius Rucker(of, previously, Hootie and the Blowfish) Wagon Wheel, for a REAL, Black take on Country I'll sub if you do that tune.✌🏼🇨🇦.

Country has always been about the men. Sure there are ‘girl singers’ but the majority of the superstars are men. So Beyoncé was at a disadvantage in country to begin with while Shaboozey is at an advantage just for that reason. And there are more black people, dudes especially, in those type bars than you think. Not the hip hop kinda dudes but there are all kinds of black dudes.
