Sha'Carri's reaction of pure unbelief that she has just beaten her rivals, and the pure joy of finally realizing her hard work and focus had been rewarded handsomely leaves me with tears in my eyes. She ran her own race, she was relaxed, she was fluid, and she was determined to run her best race on a day that required nothing less...... pure magic! She now knows she's the best in the world at the 100 meters. She is only 23, she is going to dominate this even for years to come. The only person I can see challenging her is probably Elaine Thompson. But nature is against her and her windows of opportunity are closing in on her pretty fast, while Sha'Carri is on the rise. Good luck trying to beat this young lady for a long time to come.

Did you see how fast the woman in lane # one ? ...she had the fastest time off the block ..got left behind but clearly the fastest time off the block ..Sha'carrie was the last one off the block ...she sure flew down the track , that announcer was cheering for the Jamaicans and didn't see Sha'carrie in lane #9 .lol you could hear him turn around shocked , didn't mention her ..

Since the day I first laid eyes on, and watched Sha'Carri Richardson run the 100m event 4 years ago. I was instantly shocked at her speed and running style. Her form and quickness for me was unbelievably surreal. Since that day, I have patiently waited for her to put it all together. There was no doubt in my mind that her talents was too much for her competitors from around the world. In my mind at the time, I was sure that ShelleyAnn, Elaine, and Shericka were existing on borrowed times. They were not on the same level as Sha'Carri once her mind is focused and put her life in order. That is exactly happening right now. Gooo Sha'Carri! The look on Ta Lou, when she realized Sha'Carri had just crossed the finished line ahead of not only herself, but also the rest of the field was priceless, it was only surpassed by the look on Shericka's face after crossing the finished line thinking she had won the world championships 100m race once again, only to noticed someone else had beaten her to it will probably live in her memories and haunt her for the rest of her life. She knew she ran a great race, she knew she had squashed all of ShelleyAnn's efforts to challenge her in this race, she was sure her efforts was enough to beat the field. Imagine her surprise when she looked over and realized it was Sha'Carri who had just beaten her. Imagine also that in Shericka's mind after finally confirming it was Sha'Carri who had beaten her and remembering that in all her races against her this season, she had come in 2nd best. Perhaps the ideas in her mind that she can continue to beat Sha'Carri on the 100m events has finally dawned on her that she should primarily focus on the 200 meters evens from now on. Of course, this is only speculations, but who knows...maybe.

I say the women’s 200 is the one to watch if it features Gabby and Shericka because the both ran a impressive 200 and the both are aware of each other’s time in the qualifiers and one has top in speed the other closing speed and both are competitors and both want that prize so if it happens should be a emotional one.

I love the way these young women can run with so much determination. Shacarri has one advantage over Shelly Ann, although both have speed, but Shacarii is taller than Shelly Ann, this gives her a longer distance when she lands her leg and the next. For Shelly Ann to beat Shacarii, she needs to run far more faster than her, otherwise...this just marks the beginning of Shacarii's unbeatable journey 🎉🎉🎉
