Nice! I'm paddling out there again in October and your video reminds me of how wonderful it can be.

Great weekend camping trip. Nivel vídeo and beautiful kayaks. Those are SOF?
@AndrewKauf7 жыл бұрын
Omar Lemus Thanks! Yes, they’re Greenland style SOF. Very lightweight even loaded with all of our camping gear.

Planning a trip for a few nights to shacklford. Anyone suggest a good place for overnight parking?
@AndrewKauf3 жыл бұрын
We parked at the Core Sound Museum you can see at about 21 seconds in the video. They allowed overnight parking at least back then.

Oops! Thought this was my Hammocks Beach State Park video. No reservations (or even campsites) for the National Seashore. We did file a plan at the park office on Harker’s Island though.

@@AndrewKauf oh ok. I thought that was the case, but I wasn't 100% sure. What's a file plan? I know I have to fill up a float plan.
@AndrewKauf5 жыл бұрын
MrGuezn12 Yeah, filing the Float Plan with the park is all we did. I think it’s optional but good for safety.

Why is it that most people who visit NC's coast are people who make music videos instead of talking about their experiences?
