What more can you ask for enjoying Margate. Reminds me of home, I am an Albersville boy moved by the system of that period to live at Gamalakhe in the early 70s. Worked for years at Sheppy Hospital, bought a house in Shelly Beach which is still there and now living in Essex in the United Kingdom when I do visit home I will look out for you around that area of beautiful Margate. God Bless South Africa.

When Darren is casting make sure the sinker weight is matching the rod Pour some water on the reel like to assist with the casting Tighten the drag and get used to it loser the drag . To break not wen the line hits water but to break when the sinker start to drop from the highest point , rem the sinker is falling so it won’t go further that is the reason to stop at highest point is the inertia’s pulling the reel still but the sinker is slowing down .

@@darrenmarillier no problem , I edited the reply as I missed out a few words . Also watch the KZbin casting technique pendulum casting to get a lot of distance . My personal preference is grinder as I hated reeling in the dark with multipliers Also to watch the rotor as the sinker drops and add pressure to stop the birds nest.

Put some uncooked rice or mealie meal in the box 📦 or hooks and swivels , keeps the moisture out and not to rust as fast The shad cut u under gill , the part that joins the belly and gill , kills them humanely and no more flapping .
@KentsFishing3 жыл бұрын
Yes shot I usually do that but off camera. It’s also good because it bleeds out the fish giving you beautiful white fillets.
