Hi petrus how are you. You have no idea how I am craving Shad at the moment. But you can't freeze it or anything which sucks so much. But anyway great video. I hope you have a great day. Hi Gregan Whittal. My name is Don. It's really a myth when people say that you cannot freezer shad. I do it all the time. You freeze it whole, separately with the scales and guts. When you need it just thaw in cold tap water - not warm. Or thaw on it's own. I do it all the time. It's almost the same as freshly caught.

One more thing Gregan. Do NOT thaw in hot water. It will loosen the flesh when you scale it.
