HEY EVERYONE... Welcome BACK to another foundation review. Today I'm testing out the much talked about Beauty Blender Bounce foundation... When the first image of this foundation range hit the internet, it caused quit a stir. I dive into the drama and spend 12 hours in the Houston, Texas heat and humidity trying this product out.. guest appearance from my boo RICH LUX, I also stopped at the Houston Galleria mall and asked Sephora employees what they thought of my skin... the tea is HOT and this video was a journey. You know what would have made this video even more iconic? If you invited over some friends with different skin tones and they all tried to match themselves like regular customers in the store. That would be the perfect way to demonstrate if the shade range is shit or not. I know that for me it would be really hard to judge the entire line based on what I think other skin tones need (so it would be perfect if other people spoke for themselves). But maybe that would be an idea for a future video ;) Anyway, as a makeup brand owner I'm sure you are fully aware of how the perfect shade range should look like and I hope that Beautyblender will expand theirs. I found myself hoping that this Foundation wouldn't be approved because I thought after the issue with tarte that we would never see another situation where there would be a problem with inclusivity. But as you said this simply proves knowing how he feels about the issue of shades he was honest kept to the topic at hand and not was is it a good product and did it do what it said it was going to do and the answer was yes so he gave it his approval. I've never even touched a Huda product. My actions are now confirmed to have been smart. I don't like supporting shady and/or insanely arrogant and hateful business owners. Sorry, but my money is going to Morphe, Jeffree Star, Makeup Revolution, and ELF. Hell, I just replaced two of my expired Morphe palettes and added a new one today. My Jeffree brushes will soon be in my hands. I've been using Makeup Revolution since the first time I saw it on Ulta shelves. And ELF. Well, that freaking putty primer is everything.

Thanks for mentioning us pale ass people. Being of Irish and English decent I've found it really hard to get makeup pale enough for me. Also, there is a makeup brand in the UK called Revolution that is a drugstore brand with a concealer that's £4 which has a shade range that goes from literal white to a very dark tone. So if they can do it anyone can.

Jeffree, as a woc, I appreciate that you care about brands that aren't inclusive, but...I still love that you review the product and let us know how the product actually works. I really like that, because, should they make darker shades, I would know how it wears. I have a fashion channel, so to me, just as every makeup brand doesn't have to cater to everyone(though it would be nice if they did) I get that they don't. I'm skinny af, and I know that I am lucky in a lot of ways in that fashion is made for my size. And unfortunately, designers don't have to cater to every size(though I advocate that they should). ikr. I actually only first knew about him from his music back like 6 years ago, actually it might be like 8. While I was never a big fan, I always respected it as being upbeat with a "I dont give a flip" vibe that I think can be helpful when you feel bad, even though it was out there and a lot more promiscuous and extremely different than what I normally listen to, at least back then. I dont know what he's done recently there. And I knew he had a beauty line but I wasn't much into cosmetics then, but none of that makes someone a bad person and then I see him always being super sweet to fans and just people in general, so I don't understand why he has so much hate for both of those endeavors, except for the people who like to trash talk anything just because it's not the same as their own particular taste. But they paint him out to be a monster and I'm not seeing it.

The way they need to organize shades is with the basic shades list (being very inclusive of an in-between cool tone and warm tone) then when you click on it it gives you the neutral shade option, the cooler toned option, and a warmer toned option of the shade.

I have to say I really appreciate you swatching every single one of the shades so that we could all see that difference between those two middle rows. I also appreciate that Beauty Blender reached out to you and gave you an explanation because some brands are shady af. As a latina I do sometimes have a hard time finding the right undertone because many brands just make two or three olive skin/ tan colors and call it a day so it is nice to see them actually make an effort to expand that shade range for latinas because it for sure is something not spoken much about BUT I do think that the darker skin range is NOT acceptable. Latinas are also darker skin not just that medium/ tan color so It blows my mind that it being 2018 and these large brands are still excluding several colors.

As a Latina, i can also say (having traveled to Hispanic countries before) that yes this range is good for olive skin tones (which i am) but she’s also ignoring the fact that there are MANY MANY darker skinned latinas, were not all medium olive 🧐 but i think it’s interesting that this is more catered towards Latinas, I’ve never heard of a brand do that before, so that’s pretty cool! I’ll have to watch some more reviews
