Got both the New Caravan and New Aviator in the gold frame. I tried both at Sunglass Hut and couldn’t make my mind, they were buy one get the other 50%. At least my wife didn’t complain. 😂

These are in my opinion much better than the regular Caravan's. I ended buy the gold frame and the rose gold very very nice looking recommend both to anyone looking for these.

I got the all black one in 55s and they do look cool. I usually buy the wayfarer but I thought I give these new ones a try. they are little pressing on the temple area, other than that, they cool as g.

New Caravan are nice, but severely lack lens options! Also, I believe CHROMANCE are polycarbonate or at least more poly than glass. They scratch far too easily to be crystal lenses.

Just bought these 2 days ago with a silver frame. I already have 3 classic Caravans and this will be the first pair in the new style. Really love them. What I liked about new Caravans is that they look a lot stronger and sturdy than the classics. What I disliked is that they overdid the etching (my personal opinion). The temple area etching could've been avoided.

I ordered a pair of caravans 55mm gradient coz I loved the shape.. unfortunately the 'gradient' wasn't that gradient and just looked dark.. I prefer that half tint look so very disappointed with the lenses.. and went on to sell em on.. the advertisement pictures always show em to be half tint strategically shot against a white background.. shame really nice glasses

Intruder looked cooler in my opinion and i kept it because it has anti reflective coating on the inside. Downside: price twice as much and the light Transmission on the black ones is 18% and no polarized with it.. new caravan has 10% light Transmission or so. Better for summer. I need a caravan with replacement polarized lenses, so i don't see my reflection from the inside for bright days.

I have stopped buying the ray-ban brand , Luxottica are destroying the heritage of ray -ban . No premium sunglasses brand should be manufacturing in China & withholding information about their product components. I still buy Persol because they have held onto their heritage despite being owned by Luxottica .

Most of Ray Ban sunglasses are still manufactured in Italy. Their new icons collection made of acetate are absolutely sturdy and well made. Persol and Oliver peoples cost more, 50 to 100 percent more than the Ray bans.

When Luxottiga bought Ray Ban they bought only the name , not the Bausch & Lomb lens technology . "Most of Ray Ban sunglasses are still manufactured in Italy". Yes , for now , but i will wager they will slowly ship more & more manufacturing to China in the future . They will then offer you Italian made RB`s at an increased premium price or the MIC at a lower price & guess which one`s those that just want the logo will buy .

What’s strange is on their website for the lens description it’s listed as Classic and not G-15 like the normal Caravans. Thanks for letting us know they have the 100%UV protection! This is important to know since I will be using these while piloting👍

Because real sunglass fans have felt the original B&L Ray Bans made in USA and then the made in Italy ones… and now we have all experienced the Chinese ones and they are all garbage I even have viewers that work and ray ban messages me saying the Chinese ones are trash

The Chinese ones are so cheap, i have a pair of 3669 and the screw heads stripped really easy and the gold coat stripped easy as well. I have a pair of signets made in Italy that are super sturdy and look brand new forever.

If you buy Ray ban from official website or authorized dealers and if printed made in China, it is a real deal, all the parts is original, its only put together in China just like the iPhone.
