oh my god. Six of Crows is arguably my FAVORITE fantasy novel of all time, and when I heard Netflix is doing S&B and has the Crows in it I was like oh no oh no oh no they are going to fk it up, I KNOW they are going to fk it up because there is NO WAY they are going to be able to cast the Crows right. And here we are, Netflix proving me wrong. THEY ARE THE CROWS, literally the perfect casting. And I was kind of worried about Wylan after the 1st season but no, Jack is the perfect Wylan too. Idk how Netflix does it but this is probably the only time I love to be proved wrong.

To be honest, rereading Six of Crows right now and Kaz actually is quite a funny little guy lol. Not even mean-funny, sometimes he's literally just a teenage boy having fun. He's not as cold and moody and broody as it's shown here, he's very witty and outgoing. Not only looks, but the energy they give off, and the chemistry with their co-stars. It’s evident that they’re fans of the Grishaverse, and didn’t skim the books, but got to know their characters.
