Thank you so much. I was able to apply this to bus shelters to shade them appropriately, you really helped me out.

Hi Aussie, have you ever try to reference a dxf file imported in rhino into grasshopper ? I can't select the dxf geometry with brep / mesh ... in grasshopper. Thank you for your videos !

I havent - tend to use dwg or fbx imports. As a last resort try ungroup/explode maybe.

Hi Aussie BIM Guru. I would like to create soil layers in Revit using Dynamo. Would it be possible to make a video about it?

Personally I would look into the new toposolid features in Revit 2024 as I believe there would be more merit here vs trying to replicate this using Dynamo. I will have a video on the channel in a few weeks showing how to project floors onto topography which also might help as you can make a floor that matches the toposurface with given layer thicknesses, and an option to flatten out the variable layer to its base (as part of how floors work generally).

@@AussieBIMGuru Thanks. I managed to model soil layers using topography by points, but only as long as they don't cross each other

nice but you can make it much simpler than this

Sure, feel free to share your approach for others if you like 😉
