So that leaves Huanglong and Acala--earth--of the center.)

I played the hell out of this as a kid. Learned all the bosses patterns, built up my jump, speed, shot power, etc then got totally annihilated by the last boss.

Definitely not with this game, because it was forgotten among the other games in the MD library. Even one of its launch titles, Last Battle/Hokuto No Ken 2 was forgotten but remembered as a brutally hard and mediocre side scroller.
