So we basically fight a version of ourself as the final boss? I haven't played Sf3 for months now so I was wondering how to make this sense lorewise. Is it like because we tempered with the three planes, it ends up creating another version of us?

The final boss is the real Shadow's Descendant, the child that May carried under her womb. But the Shadow world (or what left of it after The Gates's downfall - that shadow figure was seen following Shadow and May in the end of SF2) managed to take over the baby's mind when he wasn't even be born. It corrupted the baby, hence creating the dark version of himself - The Stranger, the dark side of the one used to be the Descendant. He possessed enormous shadow powers inside him, also known as the Shadow Mind, it was this reason that made May suffer from illness. Shadow realized and tried to put a stop to all of this, but he accidentally killed his wife in blindness of hatred. Shadow then separated Shadow Mind from the baby and imprisoned it in the Sphere. The baby, Stranger, became a probability of his own existence. Stranger has been holding a grudge against his own father and tried many ways to create a world where Shadow is gone and make the Shadow world his homeland. He also jumped to various of timelines/planes, creating countless of his own copies to enhance his strength. One of that copies is us - The player, the good version of him. Through our character journey, we managed to reunite with the Shadow Mind again, Shadow Mind also grows its connection with humanity, learns about the value of peace, intelligence, faith and friendship. But since all the copies have enhanced the Stranger's strength, he has becomes the supreme being and got the Shadow Mind back under his control (this happens after we complete all 3 planes in the game). The Stranger then creates a world as he wished: Shadow is no more. But his will conflicts with the Shadow Mind's - It also wants May (technically its mother) to live again in this world. And with the help of our allies, our character - The Hero is also brought back to this world to fight our shadowself in a one final battle. In the end, the evil one falls. But he still retains a little of light inside him, he uses his last breath to hug his mother in his final moment. He's honestly a tragic villain if you ask me

How come your attack can deduct quite a lot of Stranger's blood? Mine is totally the opposite. I attacked him couple of times and only deduct his lifebar sort of a single line only but his 1 heavy slash can deduct 1/2 of my lifebar. I am having a hard time defeating him. Any advice?
