Take a look at springtrap from fnaf 3 having two ways to jumpscare you from the left and right. Freddy in fnaf 1 jumpscaring you from the right or left depending if he got into the room or the power ran out. That warping time and space reason doesn't make sense for your argument btw.

shadow flumpty is a reference to the onaf 2 jumpscare. why he has the exact same jumpscare compared to the other flumpties instead of something unique to him considering he's one of the harder animatronics to get killed from is beyond me though, should have something special connected to him

Yes, but I think his mechanic is like the Clown on the First game, where he comes out slowly from the hole So I think it's the same idea here, but it works like Golden Flumpty in this game Tbh, I've never understood how the Clown works on the first game though

I believe Shadow Flumpty operates like this: Closing the monitor on a camera where he is present will move him closer to you, instead of working like ONAF1's Grunkfuss mechanic, where he moves anytime you pull up the monitor.

After looking back at the video, it works exactly as you stated. There was one time the monitor was closed on a camera where Shadow Flumpty isn't present and he didn't come closer. Every other time where Shadow Flumpty is on camera and you close the monitor, he gets closer. It's pretty forgiving if you know about this mechanic, otherwise this would catch you off guard if you aren't careful.

For people who don't know how Shadow Flumpty works or saw the 50 wrong comments and are confused- Shadow Flumpty serves to replace Golden Flumpty in the same game. Both are niche attackers who only target you when you fail to notice them in the cameras, forcing you to be more aware of your surroundings as a player. When you open a camera, Shadow Flumpty may be hiding somewhere onscreen (similarly to Golden Flumpty). When this happens, don't panic - evading him is as simple as switching to a camera he isn't on and flipping the monitor down. If you don't notice Shadow Flumpty or purposefully flip the camera down when Shadow Flumpty is there, you'll progress Shadow Flumpty's transformation bit by bit. It's a lot less punishing than Golden Flumpty because the kill isn't instant, but unlike Golden Flumpty there is an immediate threat when the transformation nears its last stages. Looking at Shadow Flumpty while he's just hanging out on camera does virtually nothing - feel free to stare at him all you'd like or switch to a different camera like a madman. What matters is that Shadow Flumpty (in an optimal run) *_should not be onscreen any time you flip the camera back down_* to look at the office.

I feel like you have what i call 'phase tokens' and each time you find shadow flumpty the more 'phase tokens' Shadow flumpty gain until the final phase and auto kill you. (I guess if you stare at him longer than 0.5 or 1 second he gains it...i don't even know what im typing....)

Basically saying he has control over the entire universe. So basically he just altered time and space to have multiple of himself at the same time.
