FINALLY A mod that appreciates the hover animations. Every other animation mod changes it. And before you guys get into the replies saying "It's stiff" "it's boring" "it's lazy" "it's not cool" "skate is better", note that the animators can do whatever you want. You can have your opinion on which is better, but you have no right to put that onto them, even if it's the official team. They do it because they like it and they think others do to, not because they aren't bothered.

I wish more people would tackle the hover boost, even just more exaggerated posing shows how cool it could actually look, flying itself is not the problem. Kind of a shame it's only been done in a mod where the whole purpose is staying close to the original animations. Honestly I'm convinced at this point that people just don't WANT to like it. Also these counter arguments are so stupid, and they're used SO often. "It's stiff" not a hovering issue "It's boring" really? "It's lazy" and just speeding up the skate isn't? "It's not cool" really??? "Skate is better" Ok I can't really fault an outright conceptual preference Also, regardless of how much sense it may or may not make to skate faster during a boost, the skating just feels... counterintuitive? Like, it makes sense when you just want to move fast, but skating doesn't really exert the force that running or [flying? jetting? rocketing?] does for ramming through enemies.

@TerraBlue_451 to me it seems that people just like how it was before, and instead of admitting they are biased, just refuse to accept any other opinion. There are many merits to the hover animation, but hey refuse to listen.

Am I the only one who hates when modders make the boost animation him skating faster. This is like the only good animation mod to me since the boost animation is him hovering.

idk why everyone's having beef with eachother on which boost is better, i just really like the animations! i love the basegame ones, but the squash-and-stretch gives me me heavy heroes/shad05 vibes, and imo its really cool thanks for showing off this mod!
