Umm im new to the game just a 1 day player and got him i got Shadow's Boots from the event but i somehow cannot equip it..any reason why?

You’re probably trying to put it in a wrong slot, it’s for the physical slots(red).

you need to limit break the unit aka use the rainbow gem thingy on him, so the third physical slot becomes a 4* physical slot

I mean it kinda does. Wanting to be a background character is his whole thing. Thats what shadow garden is for. A whole organization whos purpose is to take care of everything so he doesnt have to. Almost all of the spotlight moments he finds himself in are completely uninentional.

He only wants to be a background character when he is under the persona of Cid Kagenou. He wants Cid to be the background character. But when he is shadow he wants to be a Cool, Edgy, Mysterious Bad ass being with unfathomable power. That Unfathomable power part is the what I believe is missing. He's the type of character that enters the dungeon and Skips all the way to the Secret Boss battle. He plays KH2 and goes straight to fighting sephiroth type shi.
