My first Shadow High series 3 doll may be one of the best Rainbow High dolls I’ve ever had! WOW. She’s seriously amazing! I love the top - it’s seriously like… top of the line collector doll quality. It’s glorious. I can’t believe they pulled this doll off at the $25 price point

Computer animation? That’s it, here’s my head cannon for her : She’s actually a installation art focus and she likes to make art from recycled technology! Maybe she even repurposes stuff into new working tech! Afaik we only have one installation art focus (Nicole from SH) and truly I think there should be at least one more? Installation art is so cool and I think a big part of art that in underrepresented in Rainbow high and Shadow high!

She is my third favorite from SH series 3, and if/when I get her I will be switching her shoes with Zooey. The Eclipse on the shoes makes them scream Zooey, and the electric plugs on Zooey's shoes fits far more with the tech/cyborg vibe of Berrie.

Cat cameos are always appreciated, Brooke😺! Berri really hits the tech aesthetic sm. I love that her belt are just cable plugs. And the shoe molds are so out of this world. The accessories really complement the doll. Especially since it's 24.99. I think its the box that really gives SH series 3 such a bad rep. They look so spacious and they don't the have the box decorations of the RH New Friends line nor the line artwork of the previous SH line. It's a shame so many doll collectors are giving flack about them when upcoming g3 MH dolls are gonna follow the same trends too. It's great to see a detailed review fr.

I have been on the fence with this doll, unsure if I really should get her cause I weren't too sold on her stock photos. However seeing her in your video made her so much more justice, she is such a stunning doll, and now I feel like I need to get her. The outfit combination with the top and skirt is not my favorite tbh (too many details for my personal taste) but will work amazing separately for restyles 😊

IMO calling it a motherboard or a circuit board are equally valid. I’m not a big fan of this doll though, her outfit is a bit to “costume-y” for my taste…maybe she’s dressed up like a computer for Halloween! But that’s okay, I’m glad I don’t love them all! The dark red one is my favourite from this series.

I like her skirt & top. The most tempting 1 in this line for me is the lavender 1. I like the dark red 1 doll & accessories just wasn’t crazy about the shoes & clothes. The bright red I also like the doll, coat and drink accessory. Pink 1 I also like the doll & accessories but wasn’t feeling the outfit. The boy doll I just like the doll but nothing else 🤦🏻‍♀️. I went for the 3 new friends on Walmart. I got the skater 1st and am really happy with her.

the fact that other doll brands have less detail on their clothing or have fewer accessories than mga doesn't mean it's not a budget issue. not everyone has the same budget. and certainly not everyone has the same profit margins.

I was saying it is a budget issue lol… I was saying I USED TO always blame the price and say it could be better for more money but then MGA rolls in and creates the greatest thing I’ve ever held for $25. I’m aware of the actual profit margin ranges several toy companies actually use but I can’t speak on them. However, objectively, as a consumer, I want the highest value for what I’m paying for and MGA blows me away every time

@@xCanadensis yeah. i was thinking that of all people, u would be one of the most aware of the budget/ price/ profit margin difference between manufacturers. i actually find this one of the most interesting topics that collectors are constantly debating-- the value for money and what adult collectors can/should expect from playline toys. i, too, am impressed with what mga chooses to offer for the price but i am also fascinated by the fact that mattel doesn't choose to match them.

I feel you, I like the dark theme, or at least the alternative style, something that isn't too normal, so Berry and Zoey for me belong there, but the red one that I forgot the name for example, to me looks more like RH than SH

If you look at the bustier spread out you can see the white and yellow wires are part of a repeating pattern... so somewhere there is a motherboard fabric they made this from. I expect you to find it through your influencer connections and make yourself a pair of overalls and a cropped jacket (to wear with a black crop top, of course!) And then dance to "She Blinded Me With Science" by Thomas Dolby.

she seems super popular but i dont get it at all unfortunately. Her clothing looks kind of random to me and doesn't feel like an "outfit". I really love her tank top. Hear me out @xcanadensis… every time I see her I think of Eliza from Disney’s Zombies. She’s everything the Eliza doll should have been. The curly ponytail and tendril hairstyle is a match, she’s greenish, kinda looks like the actress, she’s a high school student, and is a coder who wears a special bracelet. Then there’s the Seabrook High/Rainbow High vs Zombietown/Shadow High parallel… Maybe some SH students will transfer to RH like in the Zombies movie.
