This duo is absolutely possible without party boost. If a trio gets you to 9 seconds left, odds are it's not fully optimized, as of you could get few timesaves here and there, or an overall better strat/moveset. Similarly to how people were barely duoing defense Deoxys with foggy boost, when the whole time it was possible nwb
