Aaran Haughton More like, he got snuffed out. I was playing terribly myself, so the 9th saved my ass. And I got lucky to get the same front-Green flag again to abuse an Eagle strat for the win.

I know this game is 12 years old but I still find it hilarious that Mario, who is normally the most average character, is the most powerful "non-heavyweight" in this game.

MattTheMan2708 I've always found that in every sport, Mario is actually slightly stronger than average (Strikers might be an exception). He should be, with all those perilous adventures over the years.

MetalYoshi ProGamer I guess he is, but less so than this game, obviously. I remember in Mario Power Tennis, Mario was always the character I was best with (besides Peach and Daisy, who were overpowered). The characters must have hidden stats in that game (Power, Speed, Control, Spin and Reach). In Baseball and Strikers Charged, the characters have stat charts and Mario is completely average on Strikers and mostly balanced albeit a bit better at hitting. However, in this game, he is completely unaverage. Yoshi takes his place for some reason. :P
