He was having issues with the pedal itself. You can see at one point in the song where he gets a break he's trying to adjust it

It’s not a trigger issue it’s an injury. Probably from overuse and treating his body like shit on tours. There’s a reason if you watch older videos when he just started playing with his band, his double bass was way tighter. I think he said he has nerve issues and back problems somethin like that

@@FargSchitter All I can is he's been having a lot of issues with consistency this past NA and now Europe tour, but it really depends show to show. In Nov he did an interview saying he's gonna try doubles, and yes I did hear he has a lot of trigger issues. Thing is when I saw him like a few days he seemed to be doing it at the right tempo, but a lot of notes didn't register, like it's a trigger issue. Look up footage from the last month or two and you'll see what I mean with skipping notes.

I don't think too many drummers can actually play what's on the album. I sure can't. Sadly it seems pretty common to program some unplayable double bass and put it on an album
