Same, and the sound design in the 2018 version is so good that I wondered the same. And here I am! Perfect!

Nobody really understands anymore but this was the RDR2 of that era. Insane graphics but most importantly an insane and organic ambiance. It felt so big and real and sparce. It still does to this day. Still a masterpiece. Games like this had such a surreal and dreamlike way of creating a place that truly felt unexplored and new/unpredictable. It felt like an alien world not just a program

This is awesome. It's funny how this world seems devoid of live as it is just made of ruins and the biggest animals you see are birds and lizards but ... Stop a minute and you'll hear the millions of bugs going through the grass, the leaves and branches floating in the wind, waterfalls and rivers, deep forests, ghostly lakes, barren plains... It is a world made for meditation.

If it wasn't a forbidden land and had a dark entity trying to trick someone, I will say this place is sooo good to have a peaceful mind, just watching the fields and places without getting interrupted by someone or something like the Collossis, etc. No pun-intended joke, but it would be nice to take your love one with you in to a place like this for vacation just watch the view and appreciate how life is beautiful and thanking God for that.

This world has always felt alive to me, especially on PS4. The world is desolate, but crawling with critters thriving, even if tiny. Just watching the lizards crawl from one side of a ravine to the other escalates the world from dead to truly alive. Fish, swimming on the outskirts of a ruined temple, surviving. Turtles, crawling around the water, undisturbed. This is alive.

Does anyone else get this really awesome feeling of "Im not supposed to be here" the idea of their being NOTHING here, its time is over, barely any life. The fact its so much less makes it feel like so much more. I simply want to explore these lands and places, and when i see the civlisation i ask why?. Why did they build this, who were they, what did they do. Its stumbling across something bigger than yourself. Staring at the endless plains is so strange to me, Nostalgia maybe?. I truly cant explain this feeling but its so wonderful and this was the first game to make me feel like this

Fumito Ueda has stated that he has taken a 'design by subtraction' approach when making games; the idea that perfection is not achieved when there is nothing left to add, but rather nothing left to remove. The world of Shadow of the Colossus is one of the finest examples of this in video games.

I love how simplistically awesome and epic this game is but still very complex to code. Morality and emotions are missing in so many games.

Cool how Bluepoint added small animals in certain places to make the world more "alive". The previously civilization is gone but the wildlife is thriving.

This is the only game I’ve bothered getting all the achievements for just because it’s so damn good. If I can listen to ambient sounds of a game, that’s how you know it’s amazing.

Is right before the 8th Colossi. On the PS4 you can change the filter.
