Can confirm the effectiveness of the blasphemous blade, fought Malenia for the first time the other day and beat her first try with the mimic tear and a worse build (no dlc stuff) and I honestly felt bad. I didn’t even mean to cheese her I just tried to prep as best I could because of how infamous she is. New game plus I am bringing a different build.

Same ,and everything makes me flinch or get stunned ,not mention the infinite amounts of stamina ,so i picked a shield and something to poke with ,and that carried me for the 90% of the dlc .

same for me. Radhan is unreal man. he breaks my Poise and in Phase there is barely any opening to hit him, when I do happen to do it with the Blahaspamy blade - the animation is too slow and he just kills me in two shots. I am lvl 230 NG and Sucdate Tree lvl 18.

Need better builds for ng+, which most of us are doing at this point. These non-tanky builds get two shot by bosses in ng+.

I pretty much ran that build but focused on running attacks and light attacks but in the dlc it wasn't nearly as effective because of how much pose everything has, switched to the great sword for dlc and ened up respecting to a strength focused build and it's much easier lol

the thing with blasphemous blade is it does really good damage in your world, but when u help others, the boss health increases and it does very little

Blasphemous blade... The one true rememberance weapon that makes sense. How do all the other weapons in the game not come close to it? Also add the fact that greatswords are one of the best in game. I remember playing on launch and discovering their power stance which helped me breeze the game as a strength build.

I used a jump twinblade build for my run of the main game, but it didn't last long at low tree fragments. I used Elenora's poleblade for most of the DLC until i got blocked by a truck named Radahn.

Mohggwyn’s sacred staff makes everything easy too. Literally the most OP weapon in the game.

first of all: no second of all: you completely butchered my beloved ancient lightning strike build the best seals are the seal of golden order or dragon communion seal, which scales higher than the gravel seal the gravel seal is just for the offhand and buff for the incants then you have to use the lightning cracked tear and bloodsucking cracked tear godfreys icon, lightning scorpion talisman and both of the basic incant buffing talismans (canvas, flock?) for buffs you can use golden vow and shabriris howl and now for the main course: florissax' dragon form the female dragon form allows you to buff the ancient lightning incantations even further for 30 seconds no armor is irrelevant because you will deal up to 50k damage per spell and probably one shotting anything before it kills you

Another "build" if ypu want to call it that is to become a tank. Turtle behind the fingerprint shield. Smack the enemy in between blocking. It's boring. But effective. And it still allows you to be flexible as a lot of these builds in the video are so highly specific that it limits your ability for variety in some cases.

All these "easy" builds are useless in NG+. NG+4 theres no "easy" way to kill radahn anymore, you have to learn the moves.

Unless you go full tank with fingerprint shield, heavy armor and an antspur rapier blood infused. It will take a few minutes but you’ll win quite comfortably even in higher NG.

Not sure if this is intended but the Winged Serpent helm and Messmer's helm also increase the damage of Taker's flames by about 10% making them BIS for the Blasphemous Blade build

The strength of the sword comes from faith scaling. After that you can put points in str/dex (these do not scale with the it's ash of war they just add dmg to the sword).

Nah dude I’m Elden Lord. I’m not spamming jump attacks looking like a sick pigeon or just lifting my sword repeatedly do the same attack over and over. I’ll take a sub optimal build with fashion and actually feeling like a “hero” any day of the week. I mean sure it’s cool to melt a boss in 20 seconds but not if I look dumb as hell doing it. If y’all are struggling this bad to beat these bosses I feel bad for you and I’m average at best

ER buffing is so broken like left hand talisman boost spells cast from right hand, do sepukku for the buff, change talisman and helmet for other buff. Then whenn all buffs are finished there's almost no way to buff in fight. Not really practical or streramlined. And if you don't do all the buffs you get hurn in boss fight. ER balance is so so broken. And bleed curved swords .......again. And Blasphemous Blade again. Slam for win. And the buffs are to much they should have give weapons more AR or more defense on the player. And most of the new weapons are just for the looks and need some serious tweaking. It's more like buff it and spam 1 skill/weapon art game. They should have made a game with skill tree and separate classes. But imagine balancing that from FromSoft lol.
