It makes no sense that except Rusty, nobody mentions Braggart's Roar (while they do mention cragblade). It is the best ASh of War buff in the game. 10% more physical damage, 10% more damage negation to all sources, 20% increased stamina recovery, AND the changed heavy attack applies 3 times more status build up. And if you are dual wielding, and use it with both weapons, even though the damage will not stack and will still be 10%, the damage negation and the stamina recovery WILL Stack, giving a total of 20% and 40% respectively which is insane.

@@TheLordofChampions barbaric roar is also really good on the patas because they have reach. It gives them a 3 hit combo that slaps. Roar, Axe, Rotten wing talisman and highland axe off hand is a great way to run them. Charged R2 makes you run forward as a gap closer and then go slap happy.

Carian Sovereigny wipes 99% of the entire DLC except 4 Remembrance Bosses, which dont leave long enough openings to hit both attacks. Its definitely S tier

Dude you should have Storm Caller on this List. That thing gives massive Hyper Armor with a Greatsword, and if you add Bleed or Frost, it melts every boss in the Game.

Nagakiba with Blood Blade shreds so ridiculously good. Nagakiba is like one of my top three favorite weapons in the whole game, but I don't use it as much now since it feels like it almost makes things too easy.

No prayerful strike? Amazing damage, stance damage and you heal for 30% health making it really hard to die. It allows your mimic to survive almost anything. I'd have it in B tier over wingstance since it can only go on 1 weapon. Wingstance could have been a mention with unsheathe since all 3 stance Aow are similar but for different weapon classes. Blood tax and flower blooms twice should have gotten an honorable mention at the end. And maybe double slash.

Yeah honestlh prayerful strike should be in somewhere and cragblade is honestly super overrated. I JUST finished a full iron stars cragblade run and i dont think i found a single boss that would have been staggered by 1 less hit with it on versus off. The extra damage and low fp cost is nice but if fists had any good ashes of war there would be better choices. Blood tax is phenomenal too but doesnt have enough poise to reallh take any other spots.

It's on the list because the damage is too impressive to ignore but its simple not consistent or easy enough to land to get any higher.

I think you are basing your rank off using summons and that's cool if you do want to. However good luck trying to channel a charged Carian Sovereignty attack on a dlc boss with no summons and especially with an ash you aren't getting hyper armour with.

​@AndrewAung1992 Nah, you just gotta find a good point where a boss's combo ends or takes a breather. If you know em well, that ash can be excellent to use in between. I do agree, though. It isn't a good idea to Only have that at your disposal. Since it scales off intelligence, you might as well use something faster in close quarters like wing of astel or carian slicer. Although with that, you are draining away at your fp, so just going with a 2nd faster weapon with a faster skill is fine.

@@AndrewAung1992 It's doable without summon, basically it's the same manner when you looking an opening to attack with R2 great sword or jump attack but with this aow you can dmg more even with 1st charged. put this aow in greatsword and dual handed it will boost hyper armor most of the boss attack.

Swift slash seems always looked over and I only hear people talking about blind spot. I can only recommend doing a full playthrough with backhand blades in blood affinity and swift slash. It trivialises almost every boss, even the bleed resistant ones. On my channel you can see how I use swift slash on Malenia and Messmer. It's ridiculously good in pve, one of my favourites and I consider it S Tier easily. Cheers!

Nice list, but totally don't agree on stormblade, it is S+ tier... It hits so hard, costs little to nothing, scales on weapon level and shoots so fast. It can be buffed so easily with 4 talismans, helm buff from bleed/poison weapon, golden vow. If you can spam it's probably the highest dps in game, but can be used to quickly poke too making it versatile option with no down side. (bleed/poison can be procced when doing it in melee range) And it has a great range of weapons to use it on.

The trick for the Gravity Spinning is that you need the Malenia great rune. You will trade blows and always come on top while you heal all damage back, it gets ridiculous.

putting spinning gravity slash in B tier is criminal, not only does it proc all succesive hit passives, its also full hyper armor and you can use it twice in one L2 let alone spam it, put it on a colossal weapon WITH BLEED and if you have melania's great rune you're basically unkillable... its the single reason i was able to beat the final boss of the dlc... B tier btw...... LOL

I feel endure should be S+. It turns casters into tanks. It allows a lot of busted weapons that have low poise to land combos. It enables so much if even for just 3 seconds. I just feel it deserves better

Please be clearer - Fire Knight's / Black Steel items don't have higher AR when going flame/fire/sacred than their counterparts. They just have a higher % of the damage be elemental, and are semi-unique in being infusable and buffable despite having native elemental damage. Their total damage output is lower than alternatives though on the same "unique buff" infusions. At this point just repeating this tidbit feels like spreading misinformation.

@@jlmr88 these are for ones you can change. Death poker is a unique weapon. The ghost flame AoW we get is nowhere near as good as the one in death poker. Try it and you'll see there's a huge difference.

There are youtubers that show hit boxes, motion values, stance damage, hyper armor frames, etc. These guys make game journalist-tier tier-lists. It's on the same level as an IGN first look, but those at least have the excuse of coming out quickly. The dlc has been out for weeks and this is basically just a random guy telling you what he thinks feels the coolest, it's lazy content.
